Many victories and great successes
followed for which I am very grateful

I am Horst Stäbler, a German racing driver. I started my racing career in 1992 in Germany. In the first 2 seasons I drove for different brands like Honda, BMW and Mercedes until I got the chance on a 911 Porsche and that on the most difficult race track in the world, the Nürburgring Nordschleife “the Green Hell”.
I was born in 1965 in the Stuttgart area and with no racing background in the family I started to get involved with motorsports at the age of 9. From then on it was clear to me that I would become a Porsche racing driver, that was my vision.

The Story

From then on my real destiny began to be a Porsche racing driver.
— HORST STAEBLER

In my third season in 1995, the first in the Porsche 964 Cup, I became champion for the 1st time with 5 victories. I won in France, Germany, Netherlands, Hungary and Italy.
Of course I tried other series like the DTC and the Renault V6 Cup as well as brands VW, Renault and FerrariF40 before I drove in the German and European Championship of Porsche and won both in 1999.
Many victories and great successes followed for which I am very grateful.
Thanks to all my fans, sponsors, racing stable owners, friends and family who allowed me to do all this.

MORE THAN A DECADE
18 years I drove different Porsche series with different racing team owners. However, the number 6, my lucky number, often accompanied me in my starting numbers.
QUICKLY EXCELLED
After I worked hard to earn the necessary money for it, had neither a manager nor a sponsor, I could not turn my first test laps until my mid-20s. In 1992 I was already “Top10 Newcomer of the Year”.
